Brandon and Gavanne met on October 19th, 2019. We celebrate this special day every year. On October 19th, 2025, we will get to celebrate as husband and wife!

Gavanne's Story:

Gavanne auditioned for the New Orleans Saintsations Cheerleading team in April of 2019. She made the team, and soon became great friends with her teammate named Amber. On a random night in October, Amber invited Gavanne out to Cure on Freret Street with her soon to be husband and his best friends. Gavanne happily joined her. After spending time catching up with her friend, they all climbed into Brandon's truck, and headed to Barcadia to keep the fun night going. Brandon and Gavanne finally talked more, and realized they share a lot in common. They connected over drinks and spoke about the time they separately traveled to Vietnam, and how they both lived in California. The night ended with a piggy back ride to the car, because she wore heels all night. Brandon "forgot" (or was too shy) to ask for her number, but thankfully Lance (Amber's now husband, and Brandon's best friend), was able to convince Gavanne to give Brandon a chance to take her out. Both guys scheduled a double date that following weekend. The rest is history!

What was your first impression of Brandon? I thought he was smart, shy, but already in a relationship. He seemed very sweet and was a gentleman. I was wrong about some of my assumptions. I think I can be more quiet than him. He comes off shy, but is actually way more outgoing than me. Everyone who meets him, loves him. He's a great person with an amazing character.

What do you love the most about him? When I was little I always wanted a best friend. He's honestly my favorite person. I love how he supports me in everything, and cares for me. He enjoys finding ways to make me smile. We fit each other so well. He loves God, and values me to such. I look forward to marrying him. God has blessed us tremendously.

Brandon's Story:

How did Brandon find his forever love? On the night of October 19th, 2019, he finally took a break from working what seems like 100 different jobs. He noticed Gavanne right away.

It appeared to be a usual night out in New Orleans with some of his closest friends that turned into a night he would never forget. When Gavanne walked into Cure Bar, he knew right away the night would be special. When Gavanne came around the bar to navigate to her friend, it felt like a slow-motion scene out of a movie. He immediately tapped his friend to ask about her. The night progressed, and they all rode to the second stop for more socializing. Gavanne was gorgeous, and full of energy. She danced and smiled all night. He hoped the night would never end. Brandon happily extended that October night into a lifetime of dancing and smiles.

What was your first impression of Gavanne? I knew immediately how special Gavanne is. She is extremely smart, caring and genuine.

What do you love the most about Gavanne? I love her honesty, the way she wears her heart on the sleeve. She is an extremely hard worker, and always willing to help someone else. I thank God for blessing me with an amazing friend, partner and future wife.
